I was a splicer for Att, and have been doing time motion studies as a contractor for them as well. I'm qualified to troubleshoot hi-cap (t-1 and t-3) systems, pots, a,v,hdsl using the tdr and t-10 sunset.

Need work :(

Did you check out Comcast? I heard an ad on the radio the other day for openings... Didn't quite pay attention to the specifics- I was just surprised to hear a full blown radio ad for openings.

Yea, they are opening up a new deal in Livermore, its a call center and my buddy said he could get me a 12-14$ an hour job. Not worth me moving I hate to say.

6172, I think my company is looking for a field tech in NorCal. This project is the FAA Telecomm. Infrastructure contract. I took their offer back in Sep. 07, and kicked myself thoroughly for not setting my exit date out a little later, since I missed the opportunity to take the buyout that they offered to us San Diego NOC people on Sep 24, 07. :(

I'll ask my lead if the position is still open. If so, I can forward your resume to Harris.

I started school back in April, Finished the CompTIA A+ and Im working on the Network+ stuff right now.

I looked at the usajobs website but there are looking for managers, not techs.

Anyhow, a 3 month BTT.

I have a hopefull at att wireless but you have to know someone to get in.

Last time I was looking for a job I sent out well over 100 resumes in 1 day, it was just about every electrical contractor in 50 mile radius. It took almost 2 months to get a job. After I did get the job, over the next few months I regularly got calls about the resumes I sent out months earlier.

Be patient and I wouldn't hesitate to apply for literally hundreds of positions. Also work as hard as you can on your resume and have as many knowledgeable people look at it as you can
