Wow. Didn't see this coming. Sheriff Penrod was good
at giving the nod to CCW's if all was in order. SB County
being the largest county in the country has a LOT of
people in it and Mr.Penrod's view on CCW was a real
plus.

I wish him good luck, and just hope the next Sheriff
is just as fairminded regarding CCW issue here.

We SURELY don't need the kind of Sheriff OC ended
up with in respect to CCW permits.

Unlike "The OC", San Bernardino has a history of issuing CCW's that was in place long before Sheriff Penrod was elected. We can only hope that his successor will be from in house and keep issuing.

Now there are more registered democrats than republicans in San Bernardino County. I hope we get a good sheriff.

You might be surprised how many Democrats run against out Pres-Elect on the gun issue.

This shouldn't be to bad, after all, we are a bunch of rednecks with gun racks, of course we will elect another pro CCW Sheriff.

The BOS is asking qualified people to submit applications. The Sheriff hand pick successor is not even getting the interim slot. This is not looking good already.

Then OCCCWS, CGN/CGF, and NRA need to pack the room @ the SB BoS...

Round 2?
