I did the reading. I signed... any one else agree with them? Note: if you sign your email or name will not show up. The view current signatures will only show a total number of people that signed.

True, UNLESS the outcome favors the leftist view of the major media, and then it becomes a newsworthy event.

Friggin' waste of time - and worse.

Firstly, it wastes effort and makes folks actually think they've "done something". They haven't.

BTW, who's running this petition? Do you think they may want your name & address for sales reasons? That's really what's behind this.

So what is it for? You could at least put the issue in your thread title or a synopsis in your post.

Online petitions are a waste of time.

Tell that to TEXAS. The OpenCarry.org on-line petition has generated over 50,000 signatures and has raised the issue of Open Carry to international media coverage. It looks like Texas will become State #45 to allow people to exercise their 2nd Amendment Rights.

And just what does OpenCarry.org bringing media attention to open carry have to do with worthless online petitions? The fact remains that nothing has ever been accomplished by an online petition, there are different channels required if you wish to petition something and it involves actually going out and collecting signatures.
