Anyone shot these before? I think it was $13/50 for .45acp and $12/50 for .40SW. Pretty good prices.

Ask yourself how much being killed or maimed is worth. I never shoot reloads unless loaded by myself or someone I personally know who I completely trust.

No Walmarts around here that sell ammo. And I haven't found any online for less than $16/50.

Never, ever, ever, never, shoot other's reloads. Idon't even shoot range reloads. For $3 difference, you are willing to possibly destroy your gun or worse, hurt yourself? I don't care if they are free, no way.

I've shot them in rented firearms there. They seemed fine to me. A little on the weak side actually.
Take my post for what it's worth as I work there.. (Sundays only)
I have shot over 100,000 rounds of the .45 and over 10,000 rounds of the other reloads we sell.. Had problems with 3 rounds in all that.. All had crushed case mouth and I spotted them before loading.
The ammo is loaded by Bullseye Ammo Mfg out in Ceritios. It is a professional shop and licensed and insured. We have sold over 2 million rounds from them and have yet to have any major problems. The only problems I can remember are the few crushed case mouths I had and ~20 or so other crushed case mouths from customers in all those rounds.
The loads are a little light. I would say around 80-90% of factory.
We do not allow the reloads to be run in our rental guns for legal reasons. I don't know who allowed that !;)
I fully understand people not wanting to shoot other peoples loads. The reloads we sell are to only ones I shoot other than Black Hills and my own.
I just thought I would chime in and give some background on the ammo we carry. Again, I do work there, but I am an honest man.
Thanks,
Nate D

don't take it the wrong way, but that alone would make people be on alert of the reloads the range sells.
I would be extremely concerned if someone offered me reloads but won;t allow me to use their rental guns to shoot the ammo with.

I was there last week and went through a lot of 9mm and 45 reload ammo I bought from there (it's a good deal)...I had no issues what so ever.....It’s just for plinking it does the job just fine....People are always going to complain about something....Look at it this way people talk a lot of S**T about Wolf ammo yet when you go to a range about half of the people there are using it…

I've shot about 1,000 rounds of .40sw reloads from ammobros through my beretta and never had a problem.

I had problems with Minwall Reloads... 1 squib and several not powerfull enough to eject the cartridge. After that and talking to a few guys at the range ive decided not to run reloads. I'll spend a little more (sometimes cheaper) to run factory ammo.
No disrespect to anyone to loaded them or runs them at all... but hey, i ONLY use Chevron fuel... im wierd like that.

I see your point. In the sue happy world we live in we don't have a choice. The rule really came about because people were bringing in there own loads and running them through the rental guns. By allowing only factory ammo that we sell to be run through our rentals makes it much more easy for us to see what is being run in our guns. Our insurance won't allow us to let people run ammo they bring from the outside in the rentals. People try to get around this by filling factory ammo boxes with there loads. I guess they figure if something were to happen the large ammo co's would be able to cover it with no problem.
I have no problem with people not wanting to shoot others reloads. I will only run Black Hills, Bullseye, and Ammo Bros reloads. I have had no problems with any of these. It's just nice to have the option of lower priced plinking ammo on hand.
As a note, we sell more reloads than factory ammo. At a rate of about 1.5/1.

FWIW, Reloads sold through a shop sould be produced by a licensed ammo maufacturer. Anyone in the bussiness should stand behind their product and have issurance in case something goes wrong.
Jumbopanda,
I'm closer to you than Torrance is. You would be more than welcome to come by and use my equipment for reloading. If need be, I'll teach you how. All you'll need to do is get your own components and come on down! PM me if you're interested.

I've used the reloads at Sharpshooter. At least 100 rounds of 45 ACP a month for the past 3 years. I haven't had a single issue with them in any of my handguns. It is just plain cheap plinking ammo. Heck so are my reloads :D
