Hello all. New here, and I hope you all can help.

Scenario:

I travel out of state to my brothers to go shooting. I return home leaving a few firearms behind for my brother to play around with. later, he or someone else wants to buy one of the firearms.

1. Is it legal leave my weapons with my brother?

2. How do I make a transfer when I am not in that state?

Tell you brother to take them to any FFL in the receiving state, you can send that FFL your personal information and he can do the transfer to the other person.

Thanks. I think it strange that I can leave a firearm with my brother (or anyone else for that matter) for him to use, but if I want to sell it to him he has to take it to an FFL. That's just weird.
