I'm tempted to purchase a SA58 FAL California Legal such as this one from dsarms:

http://www.dsarms.com/SA58-FAL-Congo-Rifle-California-Model-308-Cal/productinfo/SA58CONGOCAL/

I have two questions :

1. Can it be easily modified to a standard FAL (i.e., without the fixed 10 round magazine and stripper clip top cover)?

2. Is it possible to purchase one with a bullet button ?

Thanks

1. The top cover is removable. Call to find out if DSA welds the mag release. I know Entreprise does not.

2. Just buy a non-CA version or the Entreprise FAL and install a (thedrickel) bullet button yourself.

DSA will not send a barreled receiver to CA w/o welding in the ejector block. Buy a regular model and have it middleman'd out of state (freakshow). Will save you a lot of headache.

I have a Para Tactical carbine built and waiting for payment at DSA with my name on it. The customer who I ordered it for seems to have backed out. If someone wants to snag this I'll sell it to them before DSA cancels the order and gives it to someone else. Price is $1995 and I will ship the receiver to your FFL and everything else to your doorstep. All shipping charges included. $1995 to make it happen. Let me know by Monday.

It's this gun here:

Whats with the welded ejector block?? Will that make it difficult to convert the rifle to accept high cap mags if one was to move out of state? Or can you replace the mag release with regular parts??
