I'm sure this has been covered before but when you rebuild a 30 rounder with a "rebuild" kit, what do you do with the damaged mag body...disable it by smashing etc. and keep it around as evidence that you rebuilt it?? Thanks.

That works for the more paranoid of us, but it's not neccessary to keep anything.

I throw mine in the garbage as they are at that point just broken parts

I keep them or sell them, depending on if they still work or not.

I'm glad I kept all the non-functional ones now because I'll be making them into single-shot sleds.

i keep anything usable in a baggie in my "parts" box

often it is everything in a baggie but if its say a body with a torn lip its junk

Mine are pretty beat up, but I would think it not a bad idea to hang onto the old parts to show you in fact had "old" parts from yesteryear.

Having said that what's the use as It's now a hammered piece of sh*t (with tore or broken up parts)

So dump it as you now have a "freshy" to toy with.

The real answer is "whatever you want."

Some I've kept, some I junked, some I've sold, some I've given.

They're just parts.
