So I need to get some 10-round magazines for the AR that I'm putting together.

I really like the look of the straight body 10/20 round magazines. The only ones I've been able to find are made by C-Products.

I've used the search function, but haven't been able to come up with any useful information.

What's your opinion of the C-Products 10/20 magazine?
Does it feed reliably?
Is it well made?
If you don't use C-Products, what brand do you use?

I can't even find anywhere with the C-Products mags in stock...

I've got five C-Products 10/20 straight stainless, and they work great. I did have to open one up where the spring was getting caught on one of the metal tabs and the mag could only load 9 rounds.

These are the ones with the Magpul followers, and they have fed absolutely reliably, even after being dropped in sand, which I did not bother shaking out. Nowadays, they don't offer the Magpul follower option any more but marked the lanced mags down $6 each. I ordered another five mags direct from C-Products, which is a fairly strong endorsement. They're on backorder, though, and even when I ordered prior to any election buying craze, it took them a long time to get my me order.

My C-Products 10/20 will occasionally not retain the last round. The bolt catch will lock the bolt back with a round resting on top of the mag. My 10/10 C-Products, 30rd C-Products or PMAGS don't ever have this problem.

My favourite "original factory" 10 rounds magazines are still the old Bushmaster/Stag

I have one of the C in 10 rounds (not the 10/20) and it sucks. It guarantees some sort of jam every time I tried it. On the other hand, the Pmags are great. Never had a problem with them, plus they fit better, and I think they just look way better.

PROMAG 10/20's. These things are sturdy and they feed and function properly.

The only problem is that they don't drop free. If you can live with that then I would highly recommend promags
