So will rifle prices come back down at some point? Specifically AK parts kits? Reason for asking is that I have an AK that I don't really shoot that much, it was more of a fun project to see if I could build it without any machinery? http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?p=1571597#post1571597 Since i don't use it and could use the money (not to the point that I have to sell anything) so I'm thinking of selling it but I don't want to regret it if when i've got money again i'm gonna end up spending/waiting a lot more than normal.

BTW: pls don't make me any offers, there's a subforum for that and I will post there if I decide to sell.

If you need the money, then sell it. What happen to the original folding stock?

Don't really need the money, but it would help pay for some of the xmas gifts I bought for the family. Would like to refill the piggie bank a bit but in no danger of going broke or anything like that.

Picture of the parts kit was from the gunbroker listing and you could opt for different stocks, I opted for the collapsible.

Do it.
A. More black guns in the hands of responsible owners hands is a good thing. Think of it as charity.
B. You don't shoot it/ like it as much as another Calgunner could be.
C. Demand is high and it will be higher on 1/1, and higher still on 1/20
D. This panic mode will not last forever. The next couple months would be a great time for anyone to get out of the game for at least what they put in.

Capitalism! Free market. If it's of no sentimental value, sell while it's high. Buy another when the panic abates and the prices fall. I voted for C if you couldn't guess by my response.

the parts kits with barrels are drying up. the new kits will not have a barrel and will be more expensive to put together. i say keep it.

That's what i was thinking but i'm not 100% sure prices will come back down, especially with respect to AKs and park kits. If it was an AR I wouldn't hesitate right now.

Why keep something you don't use or enjoy?

Mark that puppy up and see if you can find someone to bite. In this market you may get more then you think!

If you sell it you will eventually end up spending the money on bills and you won't have a rifle you can enjoy shooting, holding, looking at, whatever.
Unless you really need the money, I'd say keep it.
When was the last time you saw gun/part prices go down? Everything is going up.
