Take off the front strap hook thingy. Use a Harris bipod. It will have some play because the stock doesn't contact the bipod till maybe 1/2" but works well enough.

If I didn't just sell mine, this is what I would've done:

Surefire Gun Mags Tri rail forearm + Grip Pod = Success

I've done that before. The swivel nut will come loose in a short period of time.
My advice is to find one that clamps on to the barrel, since you don't have the cleaning rod in the way.
Another option is to remove the handguard, drill, and mount a rail on the bottom so you can mount a Harris bi-pod adapter on it. You can try using the flat rails for the standard M4 hand guards.

Grip Pod + removable magazine on a semi-auto centerfire rifle = time in prison.

I wonder if the AK one fits. I saw some clamping on the barrel.
