Hey guys,

I will be moving to Washington, D.C. for six months in January. I'm having trouble finding what is and is not allowed after the Heller case, as well as finding what the procedures are for bringing in a handgun and the associated costs.

Currently I own a Glock 17. I know that they were classified as "machine guns" before the case and banned, but it seems hard to imagine that a regulation so ridiculous could stand after the Heller ruling.

Any info is appreciated,

Thanks.
