I need to find a Coin style battery holder to mount on my rifle for extra red dot batteries. Anyone ever seen or heard of these?

Electrical supply or computer repair place should have them.

I know the Larue Aimpoint Comp M2 mounts have a battery storage compartment in them...

Or you just just mount a GP pouch on your rig and carry spare parts, bore snake, cleaning rods, and toss some batteries in there.

LaRue's cantilever mount has it. Here it is on my rifle, located dead center:

The battery in the Aimpoint lasts forever. I've had the same one in my Comp ML2 since I bought it back in 1999. Still works. I think the M2 always-on is rated for 6 years life. Granted, it's nice to have a backup battery available on the gun.

Um, isn't this the perfect use for the storage compartment in the grip or foregrip? Use a tiny, waterproof Ziploc-type baggie to keep the battery fresh.
