Anyone own I these Rifles and what do you think about it? I would like to purchase one of these to shoot coyotes Or other varmints. What would be a good scope to place on this rifle? Any and all suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank You

I've said this before, and you can do a quick search here.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy the Savage w/ the accutrigger. But since it wasn't released when I was in the market, I bought the 917. Then I went to town on the 917... Rifle Basix trigger, Revival Industries stock, Simmons Whitetail Classic scope 6.5-20x50 (people will say it's a crap scope, but I have seen hundreds of once-shot rabbits and one ragged hold targets who can no longer argue that point), Burris Signature Zee rings, Harris bipod, etc...

Check out rimfirecentral.com for scope suggestions. Good folks. Lots of rimfire overkill, but good folks nonetheless. I would suggest something with a little less power than mine, especially for hunting. It's a little overkill :D...
