I made a small wager with my girl, to finish remodeling of our 2 1/2 car garage. To be my new man cave. A home for my tools, motorcycles and lift, reloading bench, work bench and room for a computer/TV.
-Drywall on all walls and ceiling
-100A sub panel, all new electrical with 12-20A oulets and 2-240v outlets. 5 flush mount florescent ceiling troffers.
-Custom MDF cabinets (to be built by a friends co that has a CNC cabinet saw)
-Race Deck flooring
I win if done by 3/24/09
She wins a 500 buck shopping spree if I fail!
I am already considering what to buy, of course 500 alone wont get me too far, but its a good start.
-ACOG
-Upper for a Spike's lower
-Rem 700 or Savage 10/12 in .308
-M1 Carbine
Any other suggestions.

Man looks like we'll have to be buddies when that's done...I vote for the Rem 700 as that's what I'm looking to get myself.

Nope nothing in the rules says I cant use additional labor! Since we talked about this wager a few weeks ago, it started at $100, then $250, today she upped it to $500. I think if I drag it out I might be able to get her to up it again!
I am leaning to a bolt rifle
Also considering building a cabinet to hide a safe. Just have to control the humidity, since I am very close to the ocean.

Beer fridge is a given in a man's garage!
So the Rem 700 is my vote or a reloading bench and set-up.

Let me get this straight.
You get to build the guy-room of your dreams, and if you get it done quick, your girl is going to PAY YOU???
It's not nice to take advantage of your loved ones like that.:D

Either way she wins. She gets you to finisht the garage project she's been hounding you about and gets a shopping spree if you don't. The female of the species...they're sneaky. ;)

I think you'd better spend more time building and less time thinking about what you're going to spend your money on.
