My first post so please bear with me. I purchased an XCR California Legal Version 1 with bullet button from lanworld, inc. but am having some trouble finding a local FFL to do the transfer. Im in Ventura, has anyone purchased one of these rifles and if so what FFL holder was willing to do the transfer?

Awesome, I knew someone would know, many thanks!! Just called them and no problems, thay have done this before. I am avery happy camper, I had bought a pair of Series 70 colts delivered last week only to have to send them back beacuse they were chromed and therefore not on the CA list, (Martin Auctions screwed up saying they were on the list) trying to avoid future problems. Have a great Christmas!!

Good at what? What is your intended use? Which AR configuration?

Way better. Better ergonomics, pretty accurate, more reliable. It's basically an AR, FAL, and AK designed all in one. The best of all three worlds.

The realy question is, how is it youve been buying all these guns and havent been posting here at calguns yet?

The only real adivise I actually have to give is to make sure you know whats what yourself. Check out links to the DOJ sights and know the laws. Check the approved gun list yourself. If you find a good FFL (there are many that dont really know what they are talking about, be careful) ask questions before making any buys. Ask questions here, somebody will answer.

I'm quite happy that the work and collective knowledge of Calguns has migrated past these virtual walls.

I quite often overhear people correctly discussing the use and legality of the bullet button who have never heard of Calguns.

That's called saturation. It's a GOOD thing. :)

I'm thinking about purchasing one directly from Robinson. Anyone know of a FFL here in the bay area.

Thanks

Try Roger's Relics.

???? Roger's Relics is in the Bay Area? The OP said he lives in Ventura. Why drive 5 hours when you can just go down the street to a local FFL?

Why don't you ask them? They should be able to tell you which FFLs they have on file. :)

Did you see the thread in my signature, as well as the stick in the general gun forum?
