I am planing on going for my first pig hut to Fort Hunter Liggett in February. Does anybody have any hot spots, tips or useful information? It would be greatly appreciated. I plan on taking my 629 8" and my mini 30.
Thank you in advance!

check out area 10/13 near the edge of it by jolon rd. theres a couple of culverts that go to area 30, which is shotgun/walk in only, where ive seen pigs traveling.

You can change areas, you have to go back to the shack to do it tho. Try to pick some areas near off limit area, placing yourself high and using a spotting scope helps cover more ground. Look for fresh wallows, or where they have rooted the ground for food, its a good indication of pig herds.
Dee Dee a Bryson Hesperia Resort is pretty plugged into the ranchers and the game shack at FHL, you can email her on her website, and I would recommend staying at her place. Dee Dee has a game locker to hang your meat, and a place to sight in your rifle.
