On one one of my rifles. If I end up not liking it/doesnt look the way im expecting, what is the most effective way to remove the paint without damagine the stock? Its black synthetic.

Thanks in advance for any help

Brake Cleaner. Lots of Brake Cleaner... But take a word of advice. Duracoat it.

Take a try and do it. Getting over the fear of doing a poor job is way worse than actually putting the work in to do a good job. If you mess up, just re-paint it to a single color of your choice.

So you want to duracoat the whole gun including the furniture? Will this prevent the paint of the furniture from flaking?

Not the whole gun, just the stock. Im leaving the barrel, action and scope black

You could always just use a $5 paint that bonds to plastic. This kinda paint does not fool around and is VERY tough. Check out krylon camo paints with plastic fusion technology at your local ACE hardware store.
