the pick you posted is to a burris, not a Bushnell. its like a combination of a rangefinder and a scope. benefit is that you will know exactly how far away something is instead of estimating or using a separate device. they are usually kind of pricey but i guess thats a matter of perspective.

The one I looked at was bulky and heavy, as you'd expect. It's an interesting concept, and would be fun to play with if you had the disposable $$ for testing it.

$577.99 would buy an awful lot of ammo.............

Zeiss. And it costs a few pennies more than the Burris - $3,699.00

The Victory Diarange 3-12x56 T* with integrated laser rangefinder from Carl Zeiss is a new riflescope that delivers excellent optical performance and mechanical sturdiness, AND the precise range to the target at the push of a button. The ease of use makes it possible to react quickly - with the weapon in a firing position within a fraction of a second - whenever the unexpected hunting opprtunity occurs.

* Riflescope with integerated, precise laser rangefinder (not visible, eye safe, laser class 1).
* Fast, simple, and comfortable operation.
* Large measureing range up to 999 m/yds (depending on object's size, reflectivity, angle of impact, weather conditions).
* Outstanding optical performance and high lowlight capability.
* High mechanical sturdiness as well as recoil proof, waterproof, nitrogen filled.
* Four different illuminated reticles for use in lowlight conditions.
* Lowest subtension resulting from reticle in the 2nd image plane.
* Fast and comfortable mounting with ZEISS rail.

Read a lot of reviews on these things before buying. I didn't know Zeiss made one. I've heard mixed reviews of these--mostly the bushnell ones.
