View Full Version : Threw some Hogue Grips on the Desert Eagle...

Wow - what a difference. The stock grips are fairly whack; hard plastic with virtually no real thought put into them by Magnum Research. The Hogue grips are absolutely fantastic - much better feel, more confident handle of the weapon, and from what I can only presume, a more cushioned recoil which means more comfortable shooting. Oh yeah, they look much better too:

That gun you have there is mighty sexy. I wish I could afford one. Is yours in .50AE or .357?

Nope - home brew with Krylon Fusion Camo flat black and Rustoleum Dark Taupe. I paint, bake, sand, paint, bake, sand, and repeat one last time. Baking process is roughly 3 hours per coat.

Comes out nice and flat, evenly textured and pretty darn hard.
