I know a guy that has a NIB Chinese SKS NON-detachable magazine he wants to sell me. The problem is, he says it was never registered in his name when he bought it in the early 90's. Is that even possible? He's willing to do what it takes to make this a legal purchase. So, where do I we begin?
Register the gun in his name with a FFL DEALER and then tranfer to me?
Any foreseeable problems that may arise? If I didn't have ARD(all rifle disease) I probably wouldn't bother.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

Long Guns arent registered, only handguns.

No need to worry, no need to register long guns.

Also as a side note long guns that are c&r rifles over 50 years old do not need to go though a FFL dealer, meaning you could just pay cash and go with c&r guns.
