My powder is flopping around like mexican jumping beans as it goes down my plastic powder funnel. It's kind of a pain to get all the grains in the case when this happens. It's probably not good to have all that electricity floating around my equipment while reloading anyways. I appreciate if you guys could help me out with some ideas. HAPPY RELOADING these holidays:):):):):)

Hmm. Given that static electricity builds up more in dry air, perhaps a room humidifier?

Wipe the funnel down with a "cling-free" type dryer sheet, and hang one inside your powder bottle. You can also ground your reloader.

That's not magnetism, that's static electricity. Humidifier or pick up your feet. Or get a proper grounding setup.

/and you aren't by any chance shaking your powder up before you pour it, are you?

Another vote for dry sheets. Pretty common practice.

They make anti-Static aerosol sprays in the laundry detergent isle. Perhaps that might help.

Please tell me how to make plastic magnetic.

I can tell you if you really want to know. It's an easy answer, one that many here could guess by using just logic. Also, and on topic, many plastics are formulated to dissipate static.

P.S. You could also use a damp paper towel, but then you'd have to let the funnel dry, lest powder sticks to the moist surface. A dryer sheet is best.

It's like a "static-ey" shirt out of the dryer. Hit it with a few squirts from a misting spray bottle and all is well. That's my home-ec tip of the year.
