Obviously I'm no Hector.....
but it will do for some extra dough, and an example of peoples dire need for parts/uppers/lowers etc
-I've also sold a few locally for my cost to help with my friends builds.. so I'm not a total capitalistic pig :)
....well maybe I am

It cracks me up...

everyone is indignant when they're buyers, but "capitalist pigs" when they're the seller.

Capitalism works because people set the price. If things didn't sell, then the "capitalist pigs" couldn't make any money.

If you don't like the price... it's pretty simple...

Don't buy it.

I have no issue with people wanting to make money. Let them do what they want. There will be someone to come along and undercut if the price is too high. That's how it works.

Actually, nobody (except the seller with tonge firmly planted in cheek) got indignant in this thread. Shocking, really, but there you have it.
It's called "desensitization" BTW... ;)

(You did catch that the OP is the seller on GB, right?)

I just found a Stag LPK stashed in my shop. Maybe I should follow suit. If people are this stupid, I might as well be the one to take their money.

The auction started at $99.
The BIDDERS are the ones willing to push it all the way up to $183. ;)

i wouldn't go as far as calling them stupid. If you need something bad enough you'd be will be willing to pay the price. Now if he could have gone down the street for one cheaper than I'd agree with the stupid idea.

If by undercut you mean buy it then sell it for more, you're absolutely right.

lol. Wow. You know, you can still order them factory direct at their old prices. Sure, there will be a wait. Beats paying a rediculous price though.

If you are going to panic buy, do the lowers and magazines.

Even if a ban did get passed, unless they also banned the manufacture of parts, we would still be able to build guns for a long time.

With the AR platform, we have no limit to how many tops we can have for each gun.

Unless it is pre-ban/post-ban like 1994 and then you can pretty much expect Stag LPKs to go for $500 as everything is sucked out of the market. If it isn't built on ban date, then it isn't pre-ban and now it is a really expensive paperweight.

That is why everyone should just relax and spend their money on NRA memberships and donations to the ILA. Yeah right, they are too busy panic buying lowers that they have no parts for.

Yes, that's true, but then there's something called the freedom of speech and if people want to voice their opinions on the stupidity of people who buy and sell LPKs for close to $200, then that is their right also. Maybe it will help lower prices, maybe it won't, but everyone is entitled to a voice.
