Something fairly inexpensive like a Ruger, Beretta NEO, walther... or something similar...

Ive been going more often and ive got my .40, g/f has the 9mm and my 7yr old nephew loves coming and he shoots my Ruger .22 revolver but he loves the look of a pistol...

So im looking for something to be like "His gun" when he comes with... Don't want to buy new or spend too much since who really knows how long he will actually want to continue coming with me.

Im in Santa Clarita and will drive up to bakersfield, out to pasadena/azusa and down to north San Diego county..

Thanks! :D

I'd STRONGLY suggest a long gun for a 7 year old's first gun! It is easier for him to aim and it is harder for him to violate the 180 rule! I'd also suggest a non-semi so that he learns to take his time and shoot instead of just spray and pray. A good .22lr rifle will last him a lifetime!

he's pretty good. He shoots my ruger 22 all the time. He's a solid shooter and follows the rules very well. If he wasn't a good kid and safe at the range, I wouldn't be bringing him. But I do understand where your coming from.

I have a Ruger Mk 1, 4 or 5" barrel, I think. It's not too fancy, but a great shooter. Looking for $250 or trade. I'll dig it out of the safe and take some pics if you're interested.
