View Full Version : Single Shot Pistol Uppers
Can anyone provide the correct portion of the penal code for the single shot pistol exemption? Seems like a legitimate way to get my custom build into the state (if I don't decide to buy a colt here). Does anyone know an FFL that is knowledgeable about these types of transfers in the Sacramento area?
thanks,
Sam

12133PC covers guns exempt to Rostering.
Aside from exemptions for C&R/antiques, it includes:
- single-shot pistols with bbl lengths 6" or longer and overall lengths
10.5" or longer (measured parallel to the bore) are "exempt single-shot
pistols". (Due to AB2206 in 2006.)
- single-action revolvers holding 5 or more rounds, w/bbl 3" or longer
and min. overall length (measured parallel to bore) of 7.5"
