I asked today....they didn't know as we ll as the other 14 dealers I called.

I got a crazy range of 6 weeks to up to 9 months!

are they that really hard to get? how much are they right now? knowing thats they are high in demand?

they are going to have to be shipped to a middleman for the conversion by the time i figured it all out and a pretty good rule of thumb is $1000.00 maybe a little more for a saiga 12 when all said and done no matter who you get it from or how you do it.

Not really, but the number of shops willing to deal with converting them and sending them to CA are limited.

It's about a grand no matter what approach you take:

$599 for the gun
$30 shipping to Freakshow
$100 for maglock
$30 shipping to CWS/PRK/etc.
$60+ for transfer fees

Saigas don't need a maglock, nor do they have to goto freakshow. You can get one sent to your local FFL.

The Saigas 12 (Shotguns) do have to have a mag lock.


A magazine lock is mandatory for any semi-auto magazine fed shotgun in CA.
