I ordered Stag Arms 2HT kit less a stripped lower. They sent me a 2H in error and have already sent the correct one out. My question is, Should I keep the 2H kit minus the stripped lower and pay the $599.00 or send it back. I have 2 Stripped Stag lowers.

Parts and lowers are drying up quick - If you can afford them, I'd say keep them.

if they want 599 for a 2H, send it back. its a nice upper, but you can get them cheaper if that is the model you want.

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=121&t=573213 this is what you get for $599.00 shipped.

I got the 2HL basically its like the HT with plastic handguards.
I ended up buying MI rails for like 130$ or so. so it was the same thing as a HT cept im a lefty.

Seems like a good deal to me, since that's $599 for a complete kit and not just the upper. Keep it!

Ship it back unless it's too much of a hassle and you don't mind overpaying for a 2H. Then again there may be a backorder on uppers so you might want to keep it if you do want to wait at leat a month for a new one. If it were me I'd ship it back though. Get an upper with a longer barrel or with a midlength or rifle system.

Well, with the way things are going, ie. everyone buying up everything in sight, I'd say keep it if you can afford it.

Keep it. Uppers may disappear.
You can always sell it at a premium the closer we get to inauguration day...

I just got off the phone with Stag after reading this thread. Their uppers are now 15 weeks out! 15 weeks ladies and gentleman!

My answer is to damn straight keep it and be thankful they have a 2HT to send you at all.

I juts ordered 4 of all of their uppers.

Seriously, I don't think most people around here realize how bleak the AR15 industry is about to become. I am even getting a little worried.

Yeah just keep! You may never know!

yeah, normally I would say you can find/get them cheaper, but with the mad rush for parts, wait time, limited availability, etc, I'd say the little extra is just paying for the "privelege" of having it right now.

Keep it.

I sent it back, dammit, really couldn't afford it right after building my AR.
