Actually, their data simply says that game animals have detectably higher levels of lead in the tissue than domesticated meat animals and that people who eat game animals have detectably higher levels of lead in their blood.

1) Has absolutely nothing to do with whether an animal was killed with lead bullets.

2) The lead levels in all cases and in all samples were way below the amounts known to have any measurable effect on development.

All of that wonderful lean venison being thrown out by the health department makes me want to cry. Damnit.
