Short of learning how to reload myself, any tips / links on where we can get bulk ammo? AR15 should finish soon, but i'm betting they pass laws on ammo pretty soon here...

i've been to the regular places (cheaperthandirt/caballas), but i have not seen a bulk ammo location/site that really stands out.

Offhand, I recall Widenners and Ammoman.com recommended here in the past.

outdoormarksman.com or the ones listed above and the next gun show in your area.

Grafs has shipping included in their prices as well, and a pretty decent selection.

www.natchezss.com and outdoormarksman.com for the best .com's or cross roads of the west gun shows, for .223 your gonna spend about $200 per 500rnds no matter where you shop.. or 150 for some cheap wolf.

I saw at ammoman this morning that they are not taking orders due to the rush. I think it'll be harder to get any guns or ammo for a while.

outdoormarksman, they have pretty good deals, and good shipping rates. $20-30. much cheaper than ammoman. there was a deal a few months back on LC M193 (outdoormarksman).

I think you can still use arfcom0608 (discount code) to get a discount too. Wideners got pretty good deals too.

last time i checked...ammoman was sellin' xm193c for abou $450/1K...i picked up from outdoormarksman for about $380/1K.

if anyone knows any better deals, HOLLA!

Anyone know any good 5.7x28mm deals?

Link isn't working for me. Can someone please forward the website for the actual deal/retailer rather than the hkpro.com forum thread?

Thanks!

They pulled the post off the board as they stopped selling at that price. It was there earlier today, but it also said no longer selling at that price.

not so. advanced tactical supply has hornady training ammo for 155 a case of 500. thats great ammo even tho its steel case and coated. it doesnt dirty up my gun the way wolf does and ive managed sub 1 inch groups at 100 yards with it. the bullets are not magnetic( but the cases are)

Check gun shows. one booth at mine sells 200rds of factory reloads for like $80. It shoots fine not match ammo. but ive gotten sub MOA with their .308win reloads.

there are a lot of choices out there for ammo for 223. what are some decent choices to get that balance quality and price (brand and type)?

Wolf fouls the guns from what I read...

Wolf is fine for plinking... all ammo will foul the gun. Keep in mind (almost) all of it is magnetic, so depending on where you shoot it may be verboten.

If you want more reliable ammo, get anything brass cased.

Q3131, XM193, etc... are tops of the mil stuff - unless you can find Mk262mod1.

Prvi match ammo (75gr) was awesome for the money, but it's all gone.

Anything else from there will be more $.

Thanks guys. I grabbed 1k at outdoormarksman last night and used the promo code that someone was nice enough to put on the post (10% off i think). 1k was 380 (included shipping).
