Thanks , I only use jacketed . Coated and plated leave " stuff " in the 50 AE .
90% of my guns are semi autos and just not worth taking a chance / extra cleaning .

Do you still have those fmj from 1940-1950 made for us Air Force?
Anyone makes jacketed .22 now?

Thanks , I just saw them , looked like jacketed . Took what was on counter .
I will try them , If they leave gunk in gun , I will give to my nephews , They don't mind cleaning out the stuff .

You love your nephews (:-

I prefer CCIs to others, but mostly for consistency and reliability.
BassPro has some online with ship to the store option.
Midway and Cabela's have them right now

Again , thanks .
I just did a search - no one sells jacketed 22 lr .
I start new shooters with the 22 lr [ a little Berrata / flip up barrel ] Then move to the 25 acp - next either the 32 or 380 ACP .
Then they choose between the 9 or 38 .
I guess all this time I have been using plated in the 22's .
Plated ones leave a lot of gunk / stuff in both the desert eagle 44 and 50 AE
The 22 lr is the only caliber I don't reload
