I have for sale a 7-30 Waters barrel from my first Thomson Contender pistol. It's a Super 14" that is really accurate (see pix). I'm selling the barrel with some Hornaday Custom Dimension 7-30 Waters Dies, a bore guide I bought from Midway USA, and the Millet one piece base and rings that's shown in the pictures. I bought the dies new for $67.99

I'm not sure how many rounds are through the barrel since I got it used at a gunshow, but I've personally only shot 200 rounds through it. This was my first TC and I was very suprised at the accuracy. I have been able to keep it in the black at 100 yards on a standard NRA target and as you can see from the pictures, it easily does better, The two 3 round groups on there measure just a hair over 1/2" at 100 yards using a Burris 3x9 scope set on 9x.

Asking $250

Hi there, is this still available? I'm tapped out until January 1st but would be very interested after then.

I have a 16" stainless that I use to hunt with. The 7x30 is an excellent carbine or long barreled handgun round! Mine will print 120 grain bullets at 100 yards in less than 1". Compact, accurate and very effective on deer and hogs.

Yup, it was lots of fun. I got the barrel with the TC when I bought it but I don't hunt and if I did, I don't think I'm good enough shot in the field to hunt with a handgun. The 7-30 is definitly a cool round.

David - No one else has shown interesting and I'm not in any rush to sell. It's just a barrel I don't have use for and I already sold all the brass I had so I won't be shooting it anymore. If you'd like, I'll hold it until you have the $$$ in January.
