A true piece of history. Former duty weapon of the Highway Patrol and carried by various agencies across the state and country.

I'm squinting hard at the tag -- it looks like a low S-prefix serial number -- can you confirm?

And with matching diamond magnas -- can you take the grips off and see if they match the serial number of the gun?

more importantly, looks like a 5 screw, that would be a definite on an S-prefix.


Get that gun out of the gun case and post some nicer pictures of it please. For a diehard N-frame collector that could wind up being a gun worth driving 3-4 hours for if you'd just post some nicer pictures.

Not a flame, just the opinion of somebody who has driven 2-3 hours precisely for the purposes of picking up such guns. If it's a 95-98% gun... it's darn tempting.
