My nephews [ 3 ] bought 308's [ stupid C gun laws ]
Any way what is the difference between the bullets between
30 carbine and 308 ? I have a couple hundred 30 carbine [ mine ]
and just finished the last of the 308 pills .
The 308's are longer , but can the carbine pills be used in the AW's ?
Next would be best place to buy 308 bullets 500 to a thousand at a time ?
No plated or coated

I see pulls being offered here and there. Look for pulled .308 projectiles in the 150gr weight range.

The 30 carbine you need to use 100-110gr bullets(lead core).
The 308 can use any of the 308 bullets but a very light one(100-110gr) may not allow a semi-auto for cycle. I use 147-150gr bullets in my semi-auto 308win rifles. In my single shot pistol or bolt action rifles I use 125/130HP/150gr bullets.

Yes better to buy bulk. "I" only use jacketed bullets and not plated/coated/lead(no jacket) bullets in my rifle cartridges. You should look at Evergladesammo.com for excellent bullets at very good prices. Their prices include shipping.

The length and nose shape is the difference. Ive used 90gr 30 cal frol carbines for my LR308 before. Real screamers but also real barrel burner. Cycles and feeds just fine in my semi. Just have to seat them really really, dod I say Really? Far out.

If you get pulls don't get magnetic projectiles like milsurp.

tonyjr---glad to help. I use them for pistol bullets mostly. But I already have a large supply of FMJ in 223 and 308 so I have not ordered from them rifle bullets. My brother did and is real happy with the service and the bullets.

They would have gotten more business but no 25 ACP , 32 ACP or 50 for AE .
