Considering the political winds in the good old USA, I may have to break down and buy a black rifle, just in case, someone tries another 10 yr. Fed Ban.

What do you guys think of this one.

They say the operating parts are Colt or FN contract parts, True or BS?

Is the gas system what you guys call mid-length?

Sounds expensive. For that price you could pick up an LMT MRP, Noveske complete rifle, true Colt...

Everyone says Colt and FN. It's almost always BS. That they say it bothers me more than if they just described what makes them good.

Rock river arms has a competition model that is cheaper and looks very similar.

Plinker is correct - you could be buying a pig in a poke with those guys, and you can never go wrong with Noveske.

Want to drop some coin on a tested product that not everybody has/knows about?

I've shot their uppers enough to know, and if I had an unlimited budget, all our of our dept. uppers would be Vipers.

Welcome to Calguns Sully! I've been a lurker on 10-8 forums for a long while now and it's good to see you here too!

I'd buy a Grail in a heartbeat if I wasn't short on cash right now:(

SLR is gtg. One of the best smaller manufactores out there for custom quality combat ready ARs.
The GRAIL has a very nice balance to it.
Remember you get what you pay for.

Ahhh,

I've been dying to shoot "The Grail" and see if its as great as people are saying it is...

It looks like the perfect balance, unlike my HBAR duty weapon... :puke:
