View Full Version : busted ejector woes...

Hey calgunners-

It finally happened- after around 8000 rounds, my ejector spring is shot. I now own a 'bolt-action' OLL rifle until I fix it. :p

So I'm receiving a new spring and one of those little donut things to go inside from CTD today or tomorrow. Is it a complete female dog to get this new spring into the claw?

Hmmmmm...if you had a field repair kit you could have fixed it like really quick. :p

The "donut thing" has nothing to do with the "ejector". Are you speaking about a broker "extractor"?

must be extractor...

I'd buy the kit from G&R or equivalent, rather than CTD - might even buy 2.

That's what I was gonna say. I tend to favor the MGI "D"-Fender over the "donut," though. Haven't had any failures yet in 5 rifles. MANY tens of thousands of rounds each. Well, except for one. She's still relatively a baby (2 yrs. old):p OP: where are you?
