Hi Fellas,

I'm wanting a 20" upper rifle length gas system...CMMG MedCon barrel, but i want to use the Magpul UBR stock. I've seen people with that stock on 18" SPR. but as stated on Magpul's site...it can be used on full-length rifles.

What does this stock come with?

what kinda spring/buffer do i need to use for a rifle length gas system?

do i need an A2 reciever extension?

Can i just use the A2 buffer/Spring combo?

I've asked around but no reply or not enough knowledge. Someone on the forum's told me that i might need to use a heavy buffer? dunno what that's like....heavy carbine buffer? or heavy A2 buffer?

I've checked out 2 sites (below), and they've got options...but i dunno what i'd need.

BTW, how much do u guys sell it for?

Thanks for any answers!

the UBR uses a carbine length tube with a car spring and buffer. the tube is included with the stock.

so does that mean i would have to get an A2 tube, spring and buffer? I got different answers...some said it was just "Plug n Play"

Or will the carbine length tube with car spring and buffer work with a 20"?

Thanks,
