Anyone try the new Hornady Grendel with the new polymer tips? How does it compare to solid tip or A-max? What powder works and what load?

I haven't seen loaded ammo from them with those new bullets, anyone see any?

Hornady's new 10th Edition Manual has the new ELD-Match bullets added. Basically the data is exactly the same as the 9th Edition for the A-Max and SST for the new ELD bullets. Just use Hornady data and work up.

When I spoke to Hornady at nationals they said (at least in the .223 range) that the ELD is the exact same bullet as that A-Max with a new tip. Not sure if that is true for the 6.5mm bullets or others.

So they don't fly the same as the orginal amax? I thought Milotrain said same bullet just different tip?

Are ELD match available loaded yet or just the bullets? I'd love to find some.

Would the grendel even have high enough velocity to be an issue with the old design?
