I just received my newest hunting pack the http://www.eberlestock.com/introducing_the_x__project.htm and this is one impressive pack, they really thought about everything a hunting pack should be, plenty of pockets, built in rifle or bow scabbard, top notch harness, plenty of tie downs, hydration compatible, water proof (including zippers). For a pack in the $135.00 range its well worth the $$.

This is there light weight day pack model, but really, it can be used for a three day pack no problem. I am going to Colorado for 10 days at the end of next week for Elk, and Deer, I'll let you know how it handled when I get back.

Anyone else have one of these packs? If so, what do you think?

With two days and counting till the trip, I loaded the new backpack, and I am impressed. total weight is about 40 lbs with and yet it feels very comfortable to wear, I'll get back to you on that after the trip. Here are photos of the pack.
