Just saw this on the news. Sounds like a story to watch. This deputy is also a "linked" and a "principal" in the murder of a prison guard. Not the type of guy to stick up for.
The police said that they later determined the rifle was an assault rifle. They said it was built from parts of multiple rifles. They didn't name the style of rifle.
Keep an eye on this story. Sounds to me like they just came up with a charge to take him into custody until they finish the murder investigation. His bail was set at $500,000. Seems like they want to keep him in custody.
