I've been searching the forums and haven't found many good pics of 9mm AR's. You guys holding out on me?

Here's a pic of mine. Nothing special. ETA: Now that I think about it, it has a 6 position stock on it, M4 handguards and a VFG now.

thanks for the links, i saw all those threads during my search. not many good pics of 9mm conversions in those threads. i'm looking specifically to see how different mag blocks and magazine lengths look on 9mm AR's.

Yup it's a C Products. I'll try and remember to take a pic of what it looks like now tomorrow. If you're thinking about building one in 9mm do it, they're great little blasters and pretty cheap to shoot. The local indoor range that doesn't allow rifles allows these because they shoot pistol ammo.

Go 9mm. There's so many other rifles out there for cheap that shoot 22. I've got like 6 or more different 22's and they never get used. I really enjoy my 9mm AR.

thanks for the tip! what are the specs on your 9? does it have an RRA upper and RAA mag block? did you experience any problems when first breaking yours in? i've read so much about troubles with 9's not feeding or ejecting right. do you have any experience you can pas on to a first time 9 mil builder?

Only problem with mine was I had the wrong hammer and buffer in it the first time I tried to shoot it. After that I had to tweak the ejector a hair and shoot brass cased ammo through it. It doesn't like the Blazer aluminum stuff or whatever it is. But runnin brass, she'll burn through it all day. It's a Colt upper with an RRA mag block.

RRA upper
ASA dedicated mag block
RRA 10/25 mag

The only problem I ever had was that I had to tweek the ejector a little bit. It wasn't making enough contact on the rim of the casing, so they were not being kicked out of the breech with enough force... stovepipes on the first 20 rounds or so. :pinch: A little bend toward the bolt, and, smooth sailing ever since.
