We've all heard the arguments for mid-length gas sys. in a DI sys. However I thought I read somewhere that in a piston it doesn't matter. So, does it?

With our Gas Piston Uppers, there is a difference in recoil between the Carbine and the Mid-Length.
The recoil impulse is a little softer with our mid-length GPU's vs. a Carbine GPU.
Maybe with other mfg's uppers there is no difference, but there is with ours.
Keep in mind that most of those who comment about Gas Piston Uppers have not owned one, and those who have owned a Gas Piston Upper most likely have owned a POF or another brand.
When we build our uppers, we know how to achieve optimal pressures for the different length systems.
