Hey folks,
Couldn't seem to find this in Search, so thought I'd throw it out there..
I consider myself fairly knowledgable around gun sale and transfer laws, but this one stumped me.
There's a slim chance (keeping my fingers crossed) that my uncle may be able to buy back my grandfather's government-issue .38 that he carried while he worked for the government in the Philippines.
Needless to say, this would be a pretty sweet heirloom for me.
But I'm completely in the dark on how to go about an intercontinental person-to-person transfer like that. I somehow doubt that they have anything like FFL's over in the Philippines.
Just wondering if anyone has had prior experience with something like this - or knew where I could look up the relevant governing laws.
Thanks
