I've just got a couple of boxes of FGM308M2 (175SMK), and the cases are "nickel"????? Silver colored!!

Is that always the case? Are those cases reloadable?

Don't know about if they are nickel - but nickled brass is reloadable - I have that for the .357 magnum.

But being Federal brass - it is questionable.:p

It's nickle plated brass. It is reloadable. After a few reloads and polish the nickle will wear off(unlike Rem's and WW's). There used to be lots of "warnings" on reloading nickle plated brass, how the microscopic nickle "flakes" will damage your dies and rifle chamber(they incorrectly assumed nickle is harder than steel or the hardened steel die bodies). Many will tell you not to use it...but will be happy to take it off your hands for free:D

It won't last as long as standard brass, but its Federal anyway. Its not going to last long as it is.
