Hey guys i bough an h&k colapsible stock for my cetme, I read in a website where it compares the parts for a CETME and G3 , and it said tht the G3 colapsible stock will fit , with minor modification to the rubber around the recoil spring, well idk what kind of modification, I compared it with my cetme wood butstock and the cetme has like aluminum around it, and the g3 has a ruber ring around it....what do i do ? How do i make it fit ? I need VERY little for it to clear the 2 holes so i can put the pins in , thanks!
Pics or write up would be greatful, thanks guys..

I took off the plastic rubber completly and still nothing! I tried to put on the stock with out the trigger group/pistol group and it fits, so i thinkt he trigger group/pistol grip is somehow blocking it from going all the way in ?

What if i get a g3 trigger group ?
Check the tang on the CETME trigger housing, it may need about 1/8" trimmed off the end for the buttstock adapter to slide all the way over the receiver.

Frijolito1988, here are some measurements of the G3 trigger group housing.
Seems like your CETME rear TGH tang is a bit too long.
