I don't know of any better deals at the time. I am sure there are probably some out there, but I don't know that I would buy them. Del-Ton has some really great prices. I don't have any experience with them, but I know a lot of people here have used them and are satisfied with them.

You could wait for Armalite to have one of their semi-frequent sales. Check their web special page every now and again.

They had a Thanksgiving sale last year - I think uppers were going for $360?

Yep, he didn't say that he wanted to shoot it, only that it needed to be the "most inexpensive you can get on the net".......is there anymore inexpensive?

I'm sorry -- but you're going to put your FACE against the side of this rifle and pull the trigger -- why are we talking about the CHEAPEST uppers? Why not save an extra month? It seems like the price difference isn't enough to later have to deal with the horror stories.

It's like building a $@K AR and using Wolf ammo.

You ain't getting a chrome-lined barrel for that price and gawd knows who made/tested the bolt.

Why are you being so cheap? In general, buy quality and you'll save in ammo, return postage and unsatisfactory shooting experiences.

I have 7 del-ton uppered rifles. All of them worked fine except for the standard 20 inch upper I have. I had to work out a few problems with it.
