badger would most likely be medium. but why badger, when you get get seekins that weighs less then badger with the same amount of performance?

this should have been posted in the optic or cprc section.

Go seekins Jicko. You won't regret it. Get the lows.

I have the seekins base with his low rings and I have plenty of room for the 56mm objective with bc caps on my S&B. Lower the better.

I still don't have the answer for the NF rings...

But according to Badger(I emailed them),
- Medium (.885") 306-20 for the x50mm scope
- Medium High (1") 306-21 for the x56mm scope

I have a Badger 20 base and Badger Medium rings on a NF 50mm, just clears the barrel with caps. Rifle is a Win 70 Heavy Varmint

The bell on an NF NXS X50 is 59mm. The tube is 30mm. Badger and NF measure their heights from the centerline of the scope to the base. A 1.18" ring is 30mm from centerline to base of ring. Subtract your base height and drop-off btw the receiver and barrel and you end up with your minimum height to clear the barrel. Then you can adjust the height up from there for where you want your head to sit. If you have an adjustable cheekrest, you can err a little on the high side and adjust the cheekrest up. I did this with my Sig Tactical 2. I got some real tall rings for a 50mm bell. Didn't think about the base and drop off heights. Also, don't forget that a 20ma base requires you to have greater than 40moa of E. I made that mistake with my Barrett M82. Not enuf E for an NF x42.
