Hey y'all:

The DROS waiting period on my Ruger 10/22 is just about up (10/4 = plinking day for me), so that means I'll be bringing my new purchase home with me. I was wondering what sort of carrying case would be acceptable to transport my rifle in my trunk (locked, of course).

Thanks in advance!

any case will be fine. doesnt have to lock. rifles dont even need a case. they just need to be unloaded( as with all guns during transportation)

When I got my 10/22, my carrying case of choice was the box it came in. Of course, I just wanted to get to the range asap and now waste time looking for a case at the moment.

Just get any bag or case that fits your budget and needs. No need for a locked case.
