Rifle, huh? Mistype?

Quail is a small bird, a shotgun with 7, or smaller shot is recommended.

I wonder if he confused Quail with Snipe hunting.. but usually you use a burlap bag and a hammer ;)

Not a mistype. I'm a new to hunting. Just trying to learn and prepare as much as I can before heading out.

Thanks.

I know a great spot for quail. Just over the hill from Palmdale. Ha Ha. I have been seeing quail all over A-zone and D13, I bet they are all over Isabella.

Let me know when you go.

By the way, is Turner's a good source for a Hunter's Safety course?

You got my PM? Im taking off tonight to go deer hunting. I can do it I think the weekend of the 25th if you can. I think we can get some chuckar also. I drove through there heading up to see a buddy and I took a detour and went looked around cause I had some time and saw some decent covies and some chuckar
