I like how CTRs are pretty much becoming standard. I like that stock a lot.

Haha, I do that too. It makes putting in the lower parts easier.

Everyone of of these "my first build" posts gets me closer to being assimilated into the BRD bunch...:43: Just trying to figure out how to break it down to the misses as to why I need to spend $1k on one of these!

Seriously, great first build, it looks like you put some real thought into it and planned it out, bravo!

Very nice first build!

How do you like the 4x clone?

What makes a CTR stock better?

Tight, no wobble, super strong, good looking, double latch, ect

Simply a better design then the original carbine stock.

Thanks All for the great comments on my first build, I really appreciated them.
Although I havent fired the weapon yet, the construction of the clone is very solid. It's metal construction and fog resistant due to the nitrogen fill. The flip to side mechanism is sturdy due to the design of the mount. I would like to own an Eotech mount but due to financial constraints and the price being $300 I will have to pass for now. The only drawback on the clone is that when I mounted it, the HWS laser dot did not appear dead center in the view finder of the clone. So after adjusting the laser on the HWS a few times to align it center I determined that the clone was the problem. I later manipulated the positioning of the clone by nudging it down and over a bit and the problem was solved. I will let you know it's perfomance once it is range tested. I also used a bullet button on the build.
