View Full Version : What is a fair asking price for a Sigma SW9C?

Lately I been thinking about selling my Smith & Wesson Sigma SW9C. Was wondering what would be a fair asking price. I was thinking in the $280-$300 range? Comes with original case, night sights and three 10 round mags. If I were to sell the Sigma I would put those funds towards a RIA 1911, in .38 Super. What do you guys think?

Sold mine for about $250 a few years ago... it was the first gun I ever bought.. the guy at the LGS told me I would be back for more and should just get a glock and be done with it... he was right.

$250 - $300 depending on how bad someone wants one and how fast the seller wants to sell it. IIRC, I paid $259 for mine NIB.

Interesting. Maybe I should put it up for $300 and see what happens.

Turner's Outdoors sells them for 329.00 new, so Calgunner's sell them on th BST for 499.00 and they never move. I think 250 would be fair.

$250 if you want to sell it fairly quick. It's a decent gun that got a bad rep because of it's trigger. I've owned 3 Sigmas over the years. They all went bang every time.

I wouldn't pay more than $250 to a guy to take it off my hands.

It was my first pistol. It is very reliable, trigger is damn heavy though.

I've seen the new model selling used with an Apex trigger installed for $300-350.

To lighten it up you can remove one of the trigger springs. There are youtube videos out there.

I guess $50 less than S&W SD9VE's price.

Idk about selling price on the S&W. But I can say the RIA in 38 Super is awesome. I love mine and it's been great.

Decided not to sell the Sigma after all. Told my dad I was selling it and he told me to sell it to him. It was his in the first place, told him he could have it back if he wanted it. Not going to charge him for a gun he gave to me. So I bought the RIA 38 Super today. Had to to special order it though. Probably won't have it in my hands for at least 2 or 3 weeks. :(
