So I was bored, and I figured I'll watch some youtube videos on guns and such, and came accros this video. At first, I was thought it was cool seeing bullet impact on different items and how they blew up, then the grand finale

Yeah, it's old news. I know there's a thread around here somewhere about it.

Seen it, but man do I hate that video though.

On the plus side, here's a better one.

lol, yeah I remember this little piece of CG smut. Not even original. reminds me of that Korn music video from a few years back.

Somebody should start showing a counterpoint with a house at night from the street. Cue sound of broken window. Roll in sound of 911 call commencing. Woman telling operator about break-in. She is locked in her room, the perpetrator is violent. He is pounding on the door. Operator assures her that "the police will be there any minute..." Cut to ambulance and crime scene tape being rolled out and then slow zoom out to wide shot of house surrounded by emergency vehicles with flashing lights. Then fade to black and bring up a message about being able to protect yourself...

That would be just as distorted and ugly as this ad. It really bothers me that saying the Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting, personal protection, crime, etc, but is the final guarantor of the liberties protecting you from tyranny is seen as a wackjob extremest viewpoint... argh.

Maybe it's a little dark, but instead of an ambulance, I think a coroner's vehicle, with a bodybag on a stretcher being rolled out would drive home the point.

Another thought (Oleg, where are you?) a still shot of the above scene with the words "The Second Amendment makes sure it's the bad guy in the body bag instead of you."
